It'll never happen.

The dealer will only replace a vehicle if it is backed by the corporate blessing (and dollars). The only way corporate will back it is if they are forced to by means of exercising the lemon law. The only way the lemon law can be invoked is if the dealership makes 3 unsuccessful attempts to correct the customer complaint.

I'm not condoning this, and I also would want a new car. But the reality is that it will not happen, and they have no obligation to do so.
