If you couldn't afford the RS package I'm sorry to say you likely won't be able to afford a retrofit of the HIDs/Halos. From what I've read if you buy the OEM parts you're going to be paying nearly as much as, if not more than, the entire RS package. Not sure what else you might be able to find as an alternative but odds are it either won't be cheap or won't be good.
