As I mentioned in the opening post, the bowtie and SS emblems were removed from the trunk for clearcoat continuity (no tape/mask etc). Besides that, I'm not a fan of the current SS emblem design (slanted/white interior/raised ridges/and overall shape in general), I would have designed one with a more bold look that makes a statement befitting an SS badge (IMHO). In the event someone ever designs a large semi-blocked/semi-retro/chrome SS to replace the bowtie emblem, it will be a simple process for me to do. But for now, since there are mounting holes that need to remain covered, the bowtie was reattached. The rear SS emblem is simply staying off for now in hopes of the right design to come along (if I eventually replace the bowtie with an SS, I'd need to remove the other SS anyway). I'd also like to see matching ones for the grill insert, and quarter badge to go below the camaro on the side.
Besides, some unsuspecting stang may decide to press his/her luck by pulling up next to what is assumed a V6 equipped maro...heh, heh.
