I hate when people bring up the auto vs. manual. Lots of people have asked "Did you at least get the stick?" I look at them and ask "Can you drive one?" Most say "no." Then, I show them I got the stick, and say "Well, guess you can't drive it today."
It's all in what you want. Traffic sucks in a stick. Those L99s are not far behind when tuned right. Do the fuse pull. Do the LS3 upgrade if it means that much to you. Ok, now you're there. It's not that much money. A used 2010-2011 L99 can save you some big bank too. Also, sticks are built for the track, yet, people like me, will probably never track their car. So, why have it? Everyone is forgetting the biggest and best reason to own a stick and the reason why I bought mine. TO KEEP YOUR WIFE OUT OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT!
