here is a fact. GM is bankrupt, this means that when mustang goes to the 5.0 at 400hp. both cars will be equal. mustang may have a slight edge due to weight. Camaro will not change its engine within the next 5 years due to backruptcy. this means mustang will match it and both cars will be great. it will be up to mods and driving skill to determine winner.

Camaro. Mustangs are FUGLY! Takes a Saleen and Roush to make them look good and perform better. Shelby GT500 are nose heavy and useless around a track unless you spend thousands more to upgrade the suspension....The new Camaros are MUSCLE cars with the looks and performance right off the show room floor. Just wait til the after-market stuff catches up with the Camaros. By the time Pustangs get the 400 HP, the Camaro LT will have 404hp.
