If I could assign negative points I would. First of all the CEO of the company that owned the dealership I bought my Camaro from is a personal friend of my father.
So I had just commissioned into the AF and I decided to reward myself with a brand new 2011 2SS/RS when I arrived at my first duty station. Well I get there and despite them telling their CEO that it was ready to go and all I had to do was drive it off the lot, they SOLD MY CAR.
So I was obviously irrate and had it resolved quickly, but it still took a week for them to find a similar model that was 200 miles away and drive it to their dealership. I took it home (without having the black stripes it was supposed to have on it) and was told to bring it back within a week to have the stripes put on. Well it took them two weeks to get the stripes and then when I finally go to pick my car up they tell me they have bad news. They "accidently" put white stripes on my car, then they try and convince me that, it looks good and thats what I wanted on my Camaro anyways. Which if you look at my avatar it's obvious thats not the case.
Well it took them two more weeks to get the correct stripes and put them on my car to FINALLY have it the way I wanted it (over a month after I should have had MY car). So then I send my Dad the paperwork that I signed and the final breakdown of what I got charged. Well my Dad is an auditor for GM and was PISSED when he saw the paperwork. I got charged about $2000 more in fees than a normal individual should and they tried to avoid giving me the GM family member discount. So he decided to Audit their dealership personally to "fix" their mistakes.
Needless to say after the dealership was audited, he found they had been ripping military people off for at least the last five years. They were pocketing military people's discounts as their own personal bonuses. Being that the CEO was a personal friend of his, he ended up having 20+ people fired. So in the end justice was finally served.
