Not to start a flame but a CAI should be noticeable. Even a high flow air filter will be noticeable. Install it and drive around for a few weeks. Then return it to stock and you'll see how sluggish the car feels. A week ago I put my OEM paper air filter back in and I didn't get out of my driveway before I felt the difference. I got up the road and couldn't stand it anymore. So I pulled over, and put the K&N right back in. When you've driven your car for a while, you'll notice even a 5 RWHP gain/loss.
