When the dealer offered this to me, I asked if this also protected against rock chips and warranted it. He said "yes". I asked to see the pamphlet. Turns out, it didn't. It also didn't warranty it against, chemical pollutants, air pollution, rain, dust, wind, tar, tree sap, bird droppings, and a whole list of other things. I basically told him it was 700$ of rip off.
