I have this same issue. I recently had the car serviced and had the torque converter replaced and the front timing covers as they were leaking oil (only 5k miles, mind you).
I pull out of the dealership lot and hear this strange rubbing/grinding noise. Same as mentioned, it only happens after the car has been sitting for a while and when taking a sharp turn. Sometimes it happens in reverse, sometimes even accelerating straight. I recently had lowering springs put on, but the issue wasn't there with them. Only right after the torque converter was replaced.
I brought it back today and illustrated it to the service manager, we let the car sit for a half hour and came out and were able to duplicated it. The mechanics had no clue and they want me to bring it in Wednesday and leave it there. That's all the info I have so far.
