Guys,
I am new to posting on the site. I've been lurking a while.
I am excited that I am in the process of rebuilding my engine. I bought my Formula new in '93 Formula and put 186,000 miles on the original engine and only had to replace the water pump, Opti, plugs, wires, and oil. It's not a Camaro, but it's an F-body!
This is for my daily driver, so it needs to have manners (wife drives it too). The block is stock, .030 over
Stock crank and rods - 355 cubes
Reworked stock heads with port and bowl polish and raised exhaust port
Comp 268XFI cam
1.6 roller rockers
extrude honed intake
stock TB
stock injectors
Edelbrock shorties, Magnaflow cat, Borla cat back
FastChip ECU program
Desktop Dyno says about 368 hp, 424 lb ft or torque. Should be a lot more fun to drive than the stock 275 hp 340 lb ft of torque. I am excited for the rebuild. I just need to figure out how I can get my tranny back in by my myself. I live in a new area and don't really have friends or family I can rely on for help. Oh well, I did it before years ago when I changed the clutch.
Thanks for reading.
E.
