You definitely have to adjust bass level at amplifier several times when setting up to get it right. The MS-8 sounds best when setup properly with LOGIC 7 processing turned on. All levels are effected when you defeat it. It takes several times setting this unit up and adjusting amp gains and levels between each other for it to eq/tune properly. If you don't have one already, I would strongly suggest installing a dedicated SUB LEVEL CONTROL KNOB, even if its a PAC LC-1 or similar (rca in & rca out). The MS-8 is too critical on bass level setup and you will want to be able to control the subs separately from what the MS-8 allows you too. Trust me. Done too many already with similar problem.
