Left Out... reminds me of many things. I lied about my age and started working part-time when I was 12. My Dad worked two jobs so school and a part-time job seemed normal.
All in the Family had us rolling on the floor in 1971. There is one scene that stayed with me. Archie telling his son-in-law about his nickname ShoeBooty and about fathers. While most of the country was laughing at Archie, I always looked at him differently. No matter what his political views were, he loved his family and did his best for them. I resented people laughing at what I saw as
Blue Collar Character.
