Since I've had my car I've had so many FML boo boo's as you described that I basically lost all hope in humanity lol.
I had a lady who slammed her door so hard into mine (driver door) it actually got stuck and she couldn't close her door until I pushed on her car to unwedge the door from mine, that costs me a door + paint and all the transferring of the door parts. I didn't want to Bondo my door, and the dent was too big to push out without possibly rippling the door skin.
At my cousins wedding, a bigger elderly lady got out of her sons small Corolla and opened her door and slammed it against mine (driver door), which costs me 400$ to remove the big dent and buff the scratch out of the door, oh and did I mention that it was my NEW door that she hit.
Recently a middle aged women was at Wall Mart with her kids, when she opened the door to take her son out of the car, she hit my door (pass side) and dented it pretty good. I was sitting in the car waiting for a friend and when I approached her, she denied it!!! Oh well lol, I buffed the scratch out, but have yet to get the dent fixed since I'm out of town.
The funniest part about all my dent stories is that, every single time my doors got hit, I was parked so far way from everyone it almost looked ridiculous and someone, each time, had the bright idea of parking beside me and hitting my car when there's a parking with 500 other parking spots, closer to the entrance doors!!!
And now to contribute to your scratch/scuffing, I got really drunk one night with a group friends. I really did not want to leave my car downtown so my friends girlfriend insisted on being the DD that night (pretty sure she just wanted to drive my car lol). I told her I would give her 50$ if she drove me and my car home and I would pay for her cab home,(15 miles) no brainer, she did it. When she parked it at home I heard a huge scrape and her face lost all its color, she got so close to first brick step at my front door, that my bumper was over top of it, she backed up and parked the car. She said my car was extremely hard to drive and that she couldn't see over my hood. I was wayy to drunk to care at the time, but I mentioned to her I heard a scrape LOL . I checked it out the next day, same scenario as you, but my car is black so it doesn't show as much as yours!!!
Like posted above, go to your GM dealer, ask for touch up paint, usually if you bought the car there, it will be free. and just paint over the scratch, just make sure to smooth it out first before you touch it up.
