Hello everyone. I've been a member here only a few short months, but I have learned A LOT from this forum. What a wealth of information there is in here.
I thought I'd give a little back, so I made a video on how to install a oil catch can on a Camaro SS with the LS3 engine (6 speed manual). The video is pretty lengthy, and I'm no mechanic. But I think some of our members will find this helpful.
I ordered the catch can directly from Rx. There instructions were pretty good, with lots of detailed pictures. But, there was only one set of directions. If you have an LS3 do this, if L99 do this. Seems pretty easy except for when you don't know what some of the components are called. Then it gets a bit confusing.
Anyway, here is the link for a video I just posted on youtube. I must warn you, it is lengthy (17 min). But, I do cover the entire install. If I would have been able to watch one of these before doing it myself, it would have taken 1/4 of the time. Hopefully, someone will spend 17 minutes and save 4 hrs...
