I was one of those who said it doesn't matter if you have a catch can or not.
Then I removed my manifold to install my blower and had the oil pour out onto me. I was shocked at the amount. An intake manifold should really be DRY. And here I was dripping dirty oil all over. And my valve tops were soiled.
For the money I'd say it's a good preventative. ESPECIALLY with a blower with an intercooler.
