Everywhere I stop in Houston people are commenting on how awesome it looks. Most have not seen another one driving around town, including myself.

Has anyone else with an automatic experienced this with the tire spinning?
You said you tried it by knocking off the traction control, as well as attempting it in competitive mode. But I wonder if you'd have better luck if you turned everything off? If I'm not mistaken, when you press the button once you turn off the Traction Control...push it twice quickly, you put it in Competitive Mode...push the button down and hold it for (I don't know how many seconds, 'cause I don't have my Camaro yet) you turn everything off (Traction Control and Stability Control).
