I've found from my street testing that each intake seems to settle at a different IAT above ambient reading at speed. This is to be expected from different intake designs, different materials intakes are composed of etc. Hence, why it would have been nice to see what the ambient temp was at the start of each test. If each intake was already at the temp it "wanted" to be above ambient, it would yield a lower temp rise during the runs. If it wasn't the temp rise during the runs would be less impressive... I'm would imagine that Ted also noticed this, and it was taken into consideration.
