Don't get me wrong: I'm not saying that I am in FAVOR of a 1/4 of displacement being found in each cylinder... just making the observation that one CAN find the cute lil' thangs in under some fairly prestigious nameplates. And, as far as CAFE standards, that is indeed an unfair, and generally uneducated, imposition being placed on all auto manufacturers, and therefore all automotive consumers, that I am NOT a fan of. While trying to avoid getting political here, it is very similar to the way certain firearms are deemed usafe, dangerous, or "assault" weapons being decided by people who know nothing of the actual aspects of the firearms, but still get to decide the rules for everybody ELSE to be forced to abide by... the rules are based on emotion, political correctness, and feelings; not science, and are not thought out more than about five seconds into the future.
