I think there are about four key things to an 11 sec 1/4 in a stock ZL1.

- weather

- track prep (Milan can be prepped to be very very sticky)

- car set up; raise the front tire pressure to 45, lower the rears to 20ish. Reduce weight... low fuel, no washer solvent, empty the trunk (inflator)....keep it cool in the lanes, cool the intake, hood open, push it in the staging lanes...

- a driver that doesn't own the car and is willing to abuse the hell out of the clutch and trans. Big burnout, high RPM clutch slipping launch, and gear slamming no lift shifts.

I think most people that own these cars aren't going to abuse the clutch and trans that hard, and will be more likely to see mid 12's.
