I wish I could have my cake and eat it too. I've got plenty of time driving both stick shifts and autos, and I really haven't decided what tranny I want when I order my '11 convertible. Around town "just going places", I prefer an auto. When it's a beautiful day and the road is laid open in front of me, the manual is definitely funner. But then again, on race day, I prefer the auto, because there's less left to my admittedly meager launch skills. And, any muscle car I own WILL find it's way to the track.
As far as being called a girl, well, that's fine, we can all have fun with it, but I think we all know that the autos of today are a far cry from the powerslides and turbo 350's of yesteryear.
