I honest can't believe that someone would try to say a win isn't a win. Maybe the SRT8 charger should be faster by the numbers ,but guess what it wasn't. Maybe the SRT8 guy needs more seat time. But really, that doesn't matter a win is a win. I watched a 2300 4 banger turbo ford probe go a low 8 sec ET two weeks ago that was impressive. Does it make me want a 4 banger turbo? No. It's just not my cup of tea ,but way bust someones balls for doing what they love and succeeding at it. I think it's pretty funny that the OP put the Charger on the trailer so to speak.
In saying all of that though, I do believe that small displacement motors will see more respect when we start seeing them in topfuel dragsters and topfuel funny cars and running the times that they currently do.
