I don't care if this is the ZL1 Forum....or the biggest classifieds forum on the PLANET.

It's still RUDE to down people's asking prices....or their cars (for that matter)....in ANY Classifieds section on ANY forum.

IF someone ASKS for opinion's about their ad/posting or their car's value...then that's another thing and that is totally acceptable.

BUT...for those who THINK they know what everything's worth to chime in and give their "Take" or "two-cents" on any car that is not theirs....THAT is ridiculous and UNWANTED forum behavior...IMO

Mainly...because the used car re-sale market varies greatly and can easily be different from City to City/County to County/State to State & from Region to Region !

Why do you think that KBB and other car value estimating sites ask you for your ZIP code before they even begin estimating the value of a used car?

I think that people should get 1 warning about posting their NEGATIVE pricing opinions in other member's for sale posts....after that....BAN THEM FROM THE CLASSIFIED'S SECTION FOR GOOD.

PERIOD.

If you have first hand knowledge of the car's condition..or of the seller...or whatever..then feel free to post up POSITIVE remarks...after all..aren't we here to HELP each other out?

I believe that we're all big boy's and girl's and we can determine if something is way overpriced on our own without the help from these *"Classified Nanny's".

Also..if you believe someone is trying to pull a scam of some sort or something like that...then yea..speak up...or just hit the little "REPORT POST" button and let the moderator's know what's up.

* "CLASSIFIED NANNY'S" = Someone that always likes to let everybody know that pretty much every car listed in the marketplace....is worth much less than what the car's owner thinks it is.

Sadly...some studies have shown that most of these "for sale ad attacks" are nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt for them to either get the car bought for cheap...or to make them (the "ad-attacker") feel better about the fact that they can't quite afford the car that's listed up for sale !

I'm JOKING...btw...on the nanny thing...
