For those of you that say it's allready getting better I feel bad for you. We will have no foundation when it 'gets better' under the current plan. We were able to print and borrow money this time which will make the impending depression very very very bad. When it could have just been very bad with a fresh solid foundation underneath us.
If a family gets into financial trouble the answer is not to take out 2 more credit cards to make things 'get better' because when those cards hit their limit, and they will, nobody will lend you any more money. What you do is stop spending and do without what you can to survive. And with sacrifice and strength you emerge solid. Our country has taken out the last amount of credit we have and we are not solid. Things are getting better? Ok, for now.
Accountability is a word that is merely an inconvenience to our Gov.

I love your credit card analogy

And the sad fact is, If I can't afford the Camaro and my credit card debt piles up...it will be a sad day but I will sell it until things improve financially for me even though I could get another credit card with a $30,000 limit and continue to pay it off. I'm almost there but so far I have high hopes I will find a job real soon ..
