My fiancee's car had a great wax job done at the dealership when we brought it home, but a bird left a dropping on it yesterday so I wanted to get it off ASAP, so I just hosed the whole car down since I didn't want to wash the whole car or risk scratching the paint using a quick detailer to wipe off the dropping. Now the car dried and has the water spots. Is there a problem if I just spray it down again when I get home and just dry the car off with a shammy? There is no point in washing it b/c it isn't dirty. What shammy is the best? I can't order one online tonight and use it tonight so I need to know what I should get from either Autozone/PepBoys. Are the lambskin chamois the best? Also how should I dry it once I do get the chamois? UP/DOWN on the doors/bumpers and front/back on the hood/roof/trunk areas?
