It's my understanding the intercooler plates for the LS9 are a little restrictive in order to get hood clearance, so I'm thinking if I had the $$$, I'd see if I could get an LS9 longblock and throw a TVS 2300 on it, turn the boost up to 10 psi, and have a lot of fun. I don't know if you can get an LS9 shortblock (I doubt it since it's hand-built) but that's what I'd look into first.

It would be a "Cool" conversion, however the cost would be astronomical IMHO. The factory LS3 will run on 8-10 psi, make the same power and live for 100K if tuned properly.
