I really do not understand your comment. Are you saying a person that is injured on active duty no matter the reason and they are discharged and have been evaluted for disability do not have the right to say they are a disabled vet unless they were in combat. I retired prior any of the current conflicts and was injured while on active duty. The military determined that I am disabled. I have the utmost respect for combat veterans disabled and non disabled. All military members that have an Honorable Discharge and are disabled should get the same respect regardless of the disability.
