BUZZ...trust me when I say that ANY muffler shop will not have a problem installing the 2.5" magnaflow resonated X pipe (muffler) in place of the stock H pipe. This is the right part. The pipes leading into the stock H pipe are 2.5" but after that they are reduced down to 2.25". The shop will be able to deal with that just fine although you may want to give them a heads up about it.

It sounds like the other X you ordered is a tru X pipe (not a muffler) which you do not want to use. They only seem to cause more rasp on the V6.

I'd say your muffler deletes should sound better when you get them clamped and probably even more so if you had them welded in place, but you may want to hold off on that if you are not positive you will keep them.

Back to the magnaflow resonated X. You may know this already, but the res X will tame the sound a bit and it will end up a bit smoother and not as aggresive...thats just what it does and could be a negative depending on what you are hoping to achieve. The positives should be even less drone and usually a slightly lower tone. If you find you are completely happy with what you have and see no reason to add the resonated X, then don't.

That said....I'm very curious to see what that setup sounds like. I hope you can get us some decent quality videos when it is all said and done because I'd love to hear more than what we have heard so far.
