You know I'll add this....It is very possible that it was built this way at Oshawa (with the incorrect fascia) in my 22 years of working at GM dealerships I've seen some strange things like this happen,specifically with trucks...we've received Chevy trucks with "GMC" emblemed tailgates,or with "GMC" horn pads/air bags.
I also remember receiving a Corvette that had the optional polished wheels,but inside the package in the car (the one that has all the books,manuals,floor mats,etc.) were "non-polished" painted center caps for the wheels.
I know you would think someone at the assembly plant would notice,but like I said,I've seen some pretty strange stuff on brand-new vehicles right off the carrrier.
