It's easy to say things. But it's not easy to follow-through.
Are the 1LE wheels "new"?
And careful with bringing the disciples into this. I don't think you fully understand their role. (At least, not based on what you said) They provide general "visionary" feedback to the Camaro team from the enthusiasts. They do not dictate or influence small decisions regarding the Camaro. I think they're doing a fine job...their input has helped produce a generation of Camaro that consistently outsells its competitors and has reignited the Camaro enthusiast community like never before.
As someone said earlier...they may not be as appealing as, say...a 1LE...but these special editions keep the Camaro on the map. They're a relatively inexpensive method to keep generating new news and discussions surrounding the Camaro. That...no matter what the models look like...is a GOOD thing.
EDIT: If there's any real doubt in a person's mind about the seriousness of Camaros performance....the issue is them, not the car.

I can understand the hood not being produced the same exact way, but i'm sure you'd be saying the same exact thing if you saw the ZL1 hood on a "Concept" model. I'm sure GM could have made some sort of variation from it.
As far as the radical paint job you mentioned? KB would do just fine, its an amazing color.
Explain to me how the wheels are not produceable? The wheels on the KB Hot Wheel version are simply old and outdated. There isn't anything new about them, they should have went with the 1LE rims if anything and possibly put the red pinstripe around that or some sort of different variation.
As far as the Disciples go I think your wrong in the aspect of they don't influence or dictate small decisions regarding the Camaro. I could be wrong, but they do influence it from the information I've read on this forum.
