Engines are more reliable today than ever. The fact they are also full of more complex technology is a result of a demand for more performance and more efficiency. The end result is that they can sometimes be more difficult to modify.
Without all of this, we'd still be driving around small V8s making 200 HP.

Never said more reliable or made more power just simpler and tougher. im driving a new Camaro over a older car so trust me I have no complaints.
