Most people don't give shorties credit because majority just get the shorts alone. People forget that when you go LT you are removing the stock cats and replacing them or deleting them. Shorts with high flow cats work well and is a great alternative for smog people. Because it's a hell of a lot easier to replace the cats than the whole header and system. A tune on this set up is not needed but will help power wise. Cells that pop up are usually due to the rear sensors reading abnormal exhaust flow. Simple extenders will fix that. I dynoed 412whp no tune LS3. Then dynoed again after oil, plug and wire change on a much cooler day and did 428whp no tune. This combo does well imo. And should not be shot down so quickly by those who have never had this set up.
