First of all, thank you to the members of this site for arranging this interaction and allowing us to be part of the shaping of this car's future. Second, thank you to GM for always having an open ear to the customers. I'm fortunate to have a foot in the Corvette world as well as the Camaro's and I know that GM has always been good to us.
My biggest concerns:
1. Fuel economy on the V8 - If I'm going to buy a Camaro, I want a V8. BUT, I want something that can make 30mpg. Alternative fuel is a big bonus. We know the technology is out there. The Camaro would be the perfect vehicle to launch it in.
2. Interior Quality - I want this thing to be a classic...I want the interior's quality to reflect all of the effort that's been put into the design and development of this car. Quality, Convenience, Technology.
3. Performance - It's the freaking Camaro. Again, fuel economy in mind, I would still like to see awesome performance. The technology is there. Show us!!! We want to be the envy of all those other people that bought their Suckstangs and Mopars before seeing what this is all about. We want them to know that not only can we whoop some tail but we can do it at 30+mpg. That would be a tremendous achievement!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. Aftermarket/OEM Add Ons - I want the V8. And depending on where you price that, I may not be able to get all of the options that I want right away. It would be nice to have the option of adding it later, piece by piece.
These are the biggest points for me. It seems like everything has been touched on pretty well. Again, thank you to all parties involved.
