I have the X pipe installed with the Pypes kit, the Mag X pipe tones the sound down. The exhaust coupled with my shorty headers sounds amazing at idle, but I still have significant drone in 2nd gear. I think the exhaust sounds great otherwise, it has no drone on the highway from 55- 80mph. I am looking to install J pipes to help with the bottom end drone. I had my Pypes kit and Mag X pipe installed at a local muffler shop for $150, they fit perfect and the install time was about 1.5hr.
