First of all I had said that is why they put it on my VW- for mpg, read it. The guy wanted to know why it was on the zl1 and what were the benny's/reason.
So if you think of a car that goes thru the air cleaner with less resistance would you not get better performance? Let’s look at the race cars that have them on there, or the high mpg cars(on the road) that are getting 50+ mpg. They all do it for the performance gain and yes it does get them more out of a gal of gas. clown
