On the new car it is supposed to get rid of the rail dust, but also any other contaminents that may be stuck to the paint. I did the whole Zaino system on my G35 that was 4 years old. It was amazing the difference it made. The paint was smooth again instead of feeling rough. It was pretty amazing...
