hmm, that would've been nice a couple years ago

I think your hp est is a tad low for the new TVS. I do agree that the pulley system necessary for 1000 hp wouldn't be able to be recreated anywhere except on a dyno motor.
yeah, a guy's building a 2300 LS7 with a ridiculous belt setup - tiny 8rib on the front with a 14rib overdrive on the back (if i remember right) - still waiting on numbers, but supposed to be over 1000. crazy it took that much to get there. i'm going for a measly 700+ should be able to make that on mine with a rear cog OD & front 8rib

Supposedly it dynoed at 40 more hp, vs a regular 2300, on that corvette. But I am skeptical. Until I see independent test results I will reserve judgement.

I want to see that extra hp at similar boost too. It has to be more than just cooler air. BTW. I have no belt slip with a 3.1" pulley on my front drive Maggie 2300 (11.5psi) and no slip with a 3.3" pulley on my rear drive Maggie (9.5psi)
yeah, i'm running a 2.9 6rib on my 2300 and killed my slip by using a .75" shorter belt. that's at 11psi on my LS1 (with relatively big exhaust - that's why the boost is low)

Just isn't enough blower.... especially for bigger/high hp engines.
ok, making a higher peak hp number... and?

even for a stock LS1 on 8psi (first dyno) and 10psi (second), you won't get this kind of flat torque with a centri. granted, the stock heads obviously don't flow up top, but that'll be remedied on the bigger engine
