Speed ventures accomodated us very well and Buttonwillow Raceway is a great beginner track with lots of run off area (thankfully I stayed on the track). The fall weather was perfect. Actually, it's a pretty technical track, a lot of turns, not too many straights with rough road. If you can hang there, you will do even better at Thunderhill or Willow.
