Sometimes people are uninformed. Because they are green freaks and don't care about their French fry oil driven lawn mower engine having electric hybrid being POS, they think you don't care about yours either.
They don't know that can damage your clear coat, or fling rocks and chip your paint. (My wife didn't know parking her mustang under a pine tree in summer would get sap all over the car, which would harden and screw up her paint.)
Try this first,--- ask politely if you can talk for a minute, explain that you are a camaro enthusiast then explain how flying debris will damage the car you love. Ask him if he would give you a heads up, you would be happy to move the car to avoid damage. If he is a reasonable person he will say "sure." If not-- he is a d**k and let the games of doom and sabotage begin!
The next time there is a late night diesel fuel spill on his lawn because you slipped on loose debris he sprayed on your drive way won't be your concern either.
