It's that time of the year again......NEW YEARS! We all look forward to hanging out and
with friends and family, but we usually don't enjoy the hangover the day after. What better way to remedy it than a New Year's Day Cruise!
Last year we had nearly 20 cars show up and everyone had a blast! Most of us will probably be pretty tired in the morning, so let's meet at 2pm like last year.
This is the cruise route I will check out next weekend when my car's running again. We would start somewhere in Redwood City near Highway 84. We would then head towards the coast on Highway 84. It's a great cruise through the mountains. Once we hit the coast, we can drive up into Half Moon Bay and get some great shots or even check out the coast depending on the weather. There are tons of photo ops along Highway 1. Once we get to Half Moon Bay, we'll head back on Highway 92 towards San Mateo and can grab a bite to eat somewhere. The drive is around 50 miles, and total drive will be 1.5 hours. It's an awesome drive for those that love the twisty mountain roads!

It's a pretty straightforward route, and I will be printing out directions for everyone going. I'll be bringing quite a few walkie talkies, and I encourage everyone to bring some if they can! Every few cars will have someone who is familiar with the route in case some get lost.
At this point, I'm open to restaurant recommendations, but I'll start calling around this week to find out who's going to be open that day!
