Agreed. You're right, somebody with more money than brains will pay the $78k for this car. "I want a ZL1 Vert, let's go look around. Ok, $78k sounds fair, here's a stack of $100's.".  Little do these clueless clowns know, they can be had for sticker ($61k) all over the place. It just takes a little research.
