Dude, I'm gonna sound really old right now but your dad is right. If you can
really afford it

your going to make some sacrafice to afford it, then rock on. Just don't end up like so many people these days with all the bling things who bury themselves under debt. Make smart moves now and later in life you'll be in a place to have whatever you want without sweating it. It's a nice place to be
. It kills me to see many of my friends up against the wall financially because of their lack of money smarts.
