Agreed, Mine is not in a safe however. The firing pin is hidden, the bolt carrier is not in the upper receiver and I have a trigger lock on the gun as well. It is also hidden in a secret compartment I built. Gotta love ingenuity. but I also have no "children" in the house other than a 22 and 18 yr old COMPLETELY SANE brothers.
They will come running asking for us to protect them or to give them one of our " ASSULT WEAPONS!" so that they at least have a fighting chance against fully automatic and submachine guns.
