I wanna put HID's in my DRL's AKA "fog lights"... I've been doing some searching and everyone's saying the 35W kit will melt the housing because the DRL's use a plastic cover? I really dont wanna do the whole replacing the DRL with fog lamps from a non-RS. And I DON'T wanna do the LED's.
So has anyone used these 15w kits? Will these melt the housing?

Also I realized these can only be in 6000k. I want 8000k so I was wondering if I can switch the bulbs like the ones from DDMTuning for only $15

Oh and to have them turn on with my headlights I just need a harness right?
