You'll notice that us people that love manuals love them because you're a part of the car. Autos don't offer that experience. Shifting yourself with paddles is only meant to make you feel like you're connected to the car but there is an obvious disconnection. My SS is tuned too but you cannot do the same things in an Auto you can I'm a Manual. Different strokes though.
