I was wondering that if you look up the 2012 LFX online it shows its a flex fuel engine, but nowhere in my owners manual does it say you can use E85.
Maybe it's because even if the engine is designed to run on E85 the fuel system leading up to it may not be compatible?
My owners manual states this,
