Unfortunately, my friend, I don't have good news. See the above link, no cat is probably going to be a no test. All shops have remote cameras now and the stations don't know if they are being watched or not, so you are going to be hard pressed to find one let you slide and risk loosing their testing cert. Super is correct, any CEL is going to also result in a failure until you resolve it and you cannot just clear the code, because if they don't see that all tests have been run, you will be told to leave and return when the car has performed all its onboard tests. Sorry to break the bad news but if been down this road and it ain't pretty in CT.
