it says on there site Polished Aluminum Air Tube not steel.and i can make a shild to isolate it from the heat off the engine. |
You might have success with making a heat shield for the tube as well. I have DEI silicone spray and their Titanium header wrap that I wanted to try. Was going to put a thick coating of silicone down, let dry and then wrap all exposed tubing. But I no longer have the intake I was going to try that on.
