If your dealer will tell you his allocation number, the next thing would be to get him to tell you how many orders he has taken, and where you are on that list.
He may have 50 orders and you may be #10 on his list, but his allocation is 5 a month. This means your order won't even be picked up by GM till the end of the second month.
The sticky point here is your not really gonna know anything unless the dealer lays his cards on the table. figure the odds.
your best bet is to find someone who got their car and it turns out the dealer treated them honest. get that dealers name and go there and take it on trust.
by the way my sales lady is Ann at Langs Chev in Beavercreek OH. I've talked to another camaro5 member who already got his car from her. She's good people.

Diaboli thank you so much this cleared things up for me quite a bit...... So basically I want to find a dealer that will honestly sell at MSRP and try to find one that gets the highest amount of allocations each month but has the lowest # of total orders.
