My dad is the manager of a credit union and signed me up at gm.com/creditunion. After you sign up you get an authorization number to show your dealer as proof of membership. You get supplier pricing as a discount.
The catch is if your dealer will participate or not. My dealer said that they won't do it for the 2010 models.
Dealer participation is voluntary.
