Aww, Scott, you're breaking my heart here! Not by a Mustang! You know, I think I'm starting to be in the same boat, except I haven't been able to find a car yet. The L99 is docile, the engine and trans tunes are aggressively limiting, the car has no sound stock, and it's thirty-seven grand. You know what else I could do with that much money? No, not a Chally, or a Ford, or an anything off the showroom floor - I could grab an old Dart or a Satellite and throw a new everything into it including a 528 crate Hemi and paint it whatever colour I wanted. Or a 572 in a repro '68 or '69 Camaro, or an AE427 in a Vette. There's a lot of fun ways to suck the paint off of anyone who comes up beside you, and I keep hearing that the L99 just isn't one of them.
It's not like I can get modern conveniences like nav stock anyhow. The bloom is off the rose for me already.
